Joint Forces Command

Joint Forces Command is the highest echelon in the ROD military structure. The Joint Forces Commander is essentially the highest ranking military officer in the ROD and his/her focus is the management and employment of ROD forces on a national and strategic level.

Reporting to the Joint Forces Commander are the Chiefs of Staff for each branch of the military, as well as several special staff officers and deputy commanders. In addition, all joint task forces report to the Joint Forces Commander. Joint Task Forces can be permanent organizations (for example JTF-M) or they can be temporary commands established for specific missions.
