Republic Of Dalmatia
Fleet Expeditionary Force

The Fleet Expeditionary Force (FEF) exists to project combat power from the sea and to enable expeditionary operations in foreign lands. The FEF does not command combat ships, aircraft, or troops to accomplish this task, rather it contains support vessels and transports which are used to provide logistical support to a combatant commander. The FEF can move everything that a military force would need to fight a war, and they also maintain prepositioned assets around the globe.

The headquarters of the Fleet Expeditionary Force is Naval Station Saint Catherine in the south-western ROD. In addition to ROD Navy vessels, the FEF will charter civilian vessels and aircraft to achieve its mission.

Expeditionary Force Organization:

Maritime Prepositioning Squadron 1
Military Sealift Command

Maritime Prepositioning Squadron 1

The ships of MPSRON 1 are loaded with combat equipment and supplies, and prepositioned to the Indian Ocean or Mediterranean Sea to provide combat equipment for ground combat troops making entry into a theater of operations. MPSRON 1 can equip an Army brigade combat team (2 mech battalions, tank battalion, artillery battalion and forward support battalion), as well as fuel, ammunition, food, and other supplies to begin combat operations.

Military Sealift Command

The mission of the Military Sealift Command is to get the troops and equipment to the fight. In many cases, this simply requires many, many tons of sealift capacity. While the ROD Navy is in the process of acquiring transport vessels, she mainly relies on civilian transport ships that are under contract to the ROD Ministry of Defense. In addition, however, MSC includes several specialized vessels that are capable of transferring military equipment from a transport vessel to landing craft, which enables the ROD to land heavy equipment and supplied without the need for a large port facility.
